My family and I had dinner in TGIF again and here's what we ordered. The food here is pricey but I do feel that it's worth the price. Food preparation doesn't take too long and we haven't had issues like being served raw chicken here. So all is good.

Here's what my family and I had for dinner.

Starters, Fishermen's Platter - RM37.90

My family decided to have Christmas lunch in Macallum Connoisseurs, a warehouse-like cafe located very near the jetty. The average price for a meal is around RM25 to RM30.

The last time I was here, I had their breakfast set and damn, it was worth it!

Here's what I ate.

The pancake was decently tasteful however the portion of it was rather small.

Lunch Set - Salted Egg Pasta

I found the salted egg pasta to be quite mild in taste. However, my brother's tomato-based spaghetti and my dad's agile olio were tastier.

Here's a picture of my dad and I.

20th Oct 2018 - Dinner

Initially, we were supposed to make aglio olio with baked chicken, but we had Starbucks for tea so we weren't that hungry. We settled for oven baked chicken with broccoli and mushroom.

Meara had Nando's Peri Peri Extra Hot sauce which she marinated the chicken with, it was really good! I didn't really help much with this but I did do the dishes haha!

21st Oct 2018 - Lunch

People usually eat pancakes for breakfast but since Meara woke up at noon, we had 'breakfast' for lunch with these Potato Pancakes! I've never heard of these before and I thought these were cutlets but cutlets usually have some sort of meat in them.

Anyway, the ingredients were pretty simple! We used 4 small potatoes, a carrot, an onion, an egg and some flour. I did help this time by grating the potatoes, onion and carrot! After that, Meara mixed all of those in a bowl, an egg and a quarter cup of flour and started shaping it.

We oiled the pan with some olive oil and then we let the pancake cook till it was golden brown on each side and voila, it's done!

21st Oct 2018 - Dinner

We made Chicken Kurma! Well, Meara made Chicken Kurma.

This was the most complicated dish among all three just because there were a lot more ingredients to it and it took more time to prepare and get it ready. Nevertheless, my tummy is happy and full.

I hope you like this food post! There will be more Meals with Meara when I sleepover again next time.

That's all for now!
