Hey guys! So the other day, my friends and I all planned to go to Six on a Thursday night. I've only been to Six this one other time in July and it was fun. However, since our government implemented this new 'rule' where people under the age of 21 can't buy alcohol, Six sort of adapted to it too. I'm not even 20 till Monday haha. They told me that I could go and was allowed to on Tuesdays and Sundays only. It was disappointing but what to do. However, if you're a regular and know people, don't worry, they'll most prolly let you in. But I'm not a regular of course, I'm an angel!

We decided to stick to our initial plan that was to check out BarAtas. I was crossing fingers all the way hoping that they'd let me in and they did! It was Ladies' Night there too so we had a free flow of Gin & Tonic and also Vodka. The DJ that night was pretty good, he played a bunch of different genres. Had a pretty good night apart from my friends nagging me to turn 21 by 11pm.

So with my experience of going to both of these places, here are some comparisons :-

1. Ladies' Night

Six gives you a cap of 4 free drinks per person BarAtas gives you a free flow of whatever they have to offer you (I had about 7, I think).

2. Space

If you get to BarAtas early, around 10ish, you'd be able to get a seat and chill for the entire night however if you're at Six there are limited and smaller tables plus a dance floor where the majority of people would be dancing. You most probably won't get a chance to sit if you're late. Not too sure if you'd need to open bottle to get a table or not. But both places start getting packed after 11pm so you'd get squished anyway.

3. Entrance

Six has an entrance fee of RM23 (I think) in exchange for a drink while BarAtas doesn't and you can go up and purchase whatever drink you want.

Well, I really liked Six and was kinda bummed that I couldn't get into it but it's okay, I'll prolly just go on Sundays or next year lol we'll see. I really did enjoy the environment of BarAtas and that it wasn't as crammed as Six.

That's all for now!

We woke up and packed, had our last breakfast at our villa and then we were off to the airport by 8.30am. It took us about an hour to get to the airport. We checked in our luggages and went through immigration then to our gates. Our flight was scheduled for 12.55pm and we were off for 3 hours.

I got the window seat (yay) and my mum sat next to me with a French guy on her right. He told us that he was a diving instructor that spent 4 months in Bali learning more about diving. How cool. I watched Going in Style starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin. Such a fun show to watch! I recommend. It's about the three of them planning to rob a bank to get back then pension money. LOVED IT!

Anyways, we reached KL at about 4pm and we got through immigration again, collected our luggages, checked-in our luggages for our flight with Malaysian Airlines to Penang and then we took a shuttle to Mitsui Outlet, Sepang with the yellow shuttle bus that KLIA provides for free.

Had an early dinner in Sushi King and window shopped for a bit until it was time to head back to the airport and to our gate. Took the 1 hour flight back to Penang and landed home at 10.05pm. It was a really long day, nothing much happened but I'm glad to be back home.

My month's long semester break begins.

We woke up pretty early, didn't have breakfast and we left our villa at about 7am to the port. Traffic was good that morning and we got to the port at about 8am, just in time before our boat took off to Nusa Penida Island. Our boat, Idola, took about 40 minutes to get to Nusa Penida. We took the quickest boat and I got some sleep on the way there.

We reached around 9am and our assigned driver picked us up at the port and we headed to Kelingking Beach. The ride there was super bumpy. But it definitely was fun! We got all the way to the top to look over Kelingking Beach that looks like a T-rex.

If we had more time, we could climb all the way down to the beach. But we were only at Nusa Penida till about 4pm as we had to go back to Bali. After that we headed to the Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong.

We were told that the waves at the Angel's Billabong could come up and sweep you off the edge as this happened a few months before. So we were advised not to take photos at the edge cause a wave could come up at an unexpected second and that might be the end of you. When it's high tide, eventhough we were so high up from the sea, sea levels would come up and cover up this entire place. So cool. Didn't think that the tide could go up that high.

After that we had lunch and headed to Crystal Bay. We got there at about 1.30pm and the sand was so hot. Good place to chill and tan but I wouldn't recommend going there for a swim as the beach is full of seashells. However, if you like collecting seashells then that's where you should go. So many unique shells can be found by the beach. At about 3pm, we headed back to the port and took the 4pm boat back to Bali.

Later that night we met up with our driver from the second day and he brought us out for dinner to get some Babi Guling (tbh it isn't my fav) and then we headed to Potato Head Beach Club after. I love the concept of Potato Head as we were at the lounge bar. Had some Heneiken by the beach listening to some chill music by the DJ. Great way to spend our last night there. The next time I visit Bali, I'll DEFINITELY spend an entire day at Potato Head. Such a chill place, I love it!

That's the end of our Bali trip. Day 5 was full of travelling home back to Penang.
