Hey guys! So the other day, I came up with an idea to do a 15-minute makeup challenge on Instagram Live with Meara. I thought I'd do well but I found myself running out of time towards the end haha. I guess I work better in my own setup at home cause I was sleeping over at Meara's for the weekend.

Anyway, here's how my makeup turned out. I only realised that I didn't cover my forehead properly with foundation after I finished applying all my makeup. I added on some powder onto my forehead and crossed my fingers hoping that it would cover some of my scars. And it turned out fine.

Here's a list of what I used in order :-

1. Primer - Smashbox, Photo Finish Primer Water

2. Foundation - Maybelline, Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation in shade 332, Golden Caramel

3. Concealer - Urban Decay, Naked Skin Concealer in Medium Neutral

4. Compact Powder - Maybelline, Fit Me Compact Powder in shade 220, Natural Beige

5. Bronzer - Colourpop, Pressed Powder Bronzer in shade Rodeo Drive (@bakedandbronzedco)

6. Blush - Physicians Formula, Murumuru Butter Blush in Vintage Rouge

7. Highlighter - Becca, Shimmering Skin Perfector (Pressed) in Champagne Pop

8. Brow Gel - Benefit, 3D Browtones in shade 4,Copper

9. Eyeshadow Palette - Tarte, Tartelette in Bloom (Smarty Pants to set & Rebel in my crease)

10. Mascara - Too Faced, Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara

11. Liquid Lip - Physicians Formula, The Healthy Lip in shade Raisin' Immunity

12. Setting Spray - Smashbox, Photo Finish Primer Water

I used a Blending Pearl from Breena Beauty to blend in my foundation and I'm impressed with how nice it blends my foundation for just one third of what it would cost you to get a Beauty Blender for. If you'd like to get yourself a new sponge, check out their website for more information. Blending Pearls come in Pink and Black and are sold at RM35 each. Apart from the sponges, they were kind enough to send me their Sponge and Brush Cleanser that is only RM15 to test on my brushes that I don't clean often. Will put up a video on Instagram to demonstrate how well this cleans my filthy brushes! (I've already tested them and my bronzer brush is white again)

As you can see, I love a blinding highlight. Unfortunately, when I first got Becca's Champagne Pop, it really was really blinding but I'm not too sure why it looks pretty subtle and natural nowadays. However, if you put in some effort and spray your brush with setting spray before going in with your highlight, which is what I did, it'll definitely stand out more.

If you like a blinding highlight, I'd recommend Dion Beaute's Low Key Shady AF highlighter from their Bi*chin Collection.

That's all for now!

Hi guys, so I filmed and edited a makeup tutorial on this Sunset Eye look for Muka & Co's Instagram Story Takeover.

Because this is a Muka & Co collaboration, I'll briefly go through my steps and speak more on the products that they have provided me with from their Tint Glo Serum (Foundation), their Wake & Blend makeup sponge and their Always Be My Palette (Eyeshadow).

After priming my face, I used the Tint Glo Serum in the shade Tan Glo with a foundation brush to spread it evenly and then I went ahead and blended it into my skin with the Wake & Blend makeup sponge. The Tint Glo Serum is very very dewy. It gives you a healthy skin glow, a nice radiance, which I appreciate. Here's a tip : Use a foundation brush for a fuller-coverage!

Next, I set my face with a compact powder, bronzed, contoured, put on some blush and did my eyebrows.

Now for the eyes. I went ahead with a Sunset Eye Look to show you how these shades from the Always Be My Palette blend out nicely. The mattes don't swatch very well on the back of my hand but they do blend out nicely on the eyes and that's all that matters. The colours are quite pigmented and they do hold enough for you to have a nice colourful eye look.

Always Be My Palette
Always Be My Palette

1. Base - A Matte Burnt Orange for my crease (2nd row 2nd shade)

2. Upper crease - A Matte Mustard Yellow for above my crease (2nd row 1st shade)

3. Lids - A Purple Shimmer shade for my lids (4th row 1st shade)

4. Transition - A Matte Red/Maroon to blend the purple and nude brown together (3rd row 5th shade)

5. Lower lash line - I blended the purple and the maroon together from the outer corner of my eye to the bottom half.

After my eyeshadow, I finished the Sunset Eye look off with some eyeliner and mascara.

For my highlight, I used the Gold shimmer shade on the most right of the second row from the Always Be My Palette. I placed it on the inner corner of my eyes, my cheekbones, by brow bone, the bridge of my nose and on my Cupid's bow.

Lastly, I put on a dark lip and that was it! Simple isn't it?

Do check out Muka & Co's website if you're interested and would like to purchase any one of their products! #mukagang

Hey guys, today I'll be talking about my collaboration with Muka & Co, a local brand!

We are working together in conjunction with Pink October to use our platforms to speak on self-esteem and confidence especially for women who are battling cancer, struggling with health or who are disabled.

I would like to say that no matter what we may look like on the outside, what counts is our inner beauty. How we treat one another with kindness and sincerity, how we respect people of different races and of different social classes, how we help and encourage instead of judge from afar. Trust me, your inner beauty will radiate and shine through. In my opinion, inner beauty outweighs outer beauty.

Let's talk about self-esteem. It's really important to have a good self-esteem. In case you don't quite fully understand the word, self-esteem reflects an individual's overall subjective emotional evaluation of his or her own worth. It is the decision made by an individual as an attitude towards the self. It simply means that self-esteem is what you think of yourself. Whether you're good enough, tall enough, pretty enough, smart enough or not.

Why is it important to have a good self-esteem? Having a good self esteem is like a confidence boost to yourself! How much do you believe in yourself? Are you proud of how far you've come and how much you've achieved so far? I want you to remember that no one can do you better than you. It's okay if we look different, we're all made different for a reason. We're all unique and special in our own ways and it's up to us on how we'd like to take charge of our lives. What for be like everyone else when you can be your own person?

On that note, remember that everyone has a different 'timeline' to life. Don't worry if your friend graduates at 22 and you're barely halfway through your degree. Life isn't a competition on who achieves what first. Every individual is different. We all have different goals and ambitions in life. As long as you're focused on what you want to achieve, you'll get there!

Stay tuned for a run through on Muka & Co products in my next post! A big thank you to Muka & Co once again for this collaboration on using our platforms to reach out and empower. #mukagang
