To be completely honest, my new year didn't really feel like a new year as my previous semester hadn't ended yet. After new year was my finals so I just got my semester break over CNY and I'll be starting my second last semester in a couple of days.

I feel like this year round, I'd like to prioritise myself, to be content alone instead of constantly searching for someone to share an experience with me. There's honestly nothing wrong about doing things on your own, and only now have I come to realise that.

I feel really awkward when it comes to having a meal in public by myself and I just want to overcome that and be comfortable with it. I also realised that there has been a lot of things that I have been wanting to do but I've been putting it off just because I'm waiting for someone to do it with me. Simple things like going to the gym or even cafe hopping.

I've always thought that things would be better with a friend and yes, of course it's true but then again, some days we'll only have ourselves and no one else so why aren't we building a sense of being comfortable and content with just ourselves instead?

This year I really want to learn how to be content with my own company.

That's all for now.

xx, Farm
