Are you content with your life?

With social media being the daily newspaper for the majority of us, where people mostly live their best lives and only show the nicest, the biggest and the best things they have or do, it's hard to feel content with what you have and how you live.

Social media has brought us so far in terms of reconnecting with old friends or being able to communicate with people wherever they are. To share experiences and memories on a platform where it will forever be stored on. A space to be creative and explore your self-potential online.
But with great things comes the downside of it too. Social media has affected many people in terms of feeling like they're not doing enough. Where everyone else is doing better than they are. Everyone else gets to travel places and sip cocktails on a yacht. That's because a lot of us share our ups in life but rarely the downs on this platform. It's human nature to compare ourselves with others but it isn't healthy to feel like what you're doing will never be enough.
I'd like to remind you that everyone works differently and everyone has a different life plan mapped out for them. Not everyone has to graduate at 22 and get married at 27. Slow down. Breathe. You're not missing out if you're content and happy with where you are today. Your life doesn't have to be like everyone else's. You're different.
Whenever you're demotivated, just count your blessings. Take into account that you have a home, a family that supports you, food on the table or even an education. Many people don't get the same opportunities that you do. If we're just a tad bit more grateful with what we have instead of worrying about what we don't, I'm sure that we'll feel a lot more better about ourselves and our lives.
Till next time.
xx, Farm
