Hey guys, I'm back with a review on Maybelline's Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation in the shade 332 Golden Caramel. There has been a hype on this for its performance and the price you're getting it for. So, does it really work as good as what the beauty gurus have sworn by?
I bought mine from Watsons at a 50% discount over their Merdeka sales. Maybelline released 40 shades in the US but we only got 10 to make do with. Although the shade range for this foundation is pretty much disappointing, somehow, I managed to find my perfect shade.

Okay so I paired this foundation with Maybelline's Fit Me Matte and Poreless Powder in the shade 330 Toffee. Again, even the shade range for the compacts are disappointing.
Here's how I used it. I poured some of the foundation onto the back of my hand and applied it using a large concealer brush all over my face. Then I went over with my beauty blender after to smoothen out any streaks or unevenness. When the foundation has dried down, it felt similar to Fenty's foundation in how lightweight and skin-like it was. It didn't dry down as quick as Fenty does, which is a good thing because it gives you a short amount of time to work your foundation through. After that, I set my face in place with the Fit Me powder to test both products together.

After a full 8 hours of wearing this foundation and blotting my nose only once within that period of time, here are my thoughts.
Pros :-
This foundation, even without the discount (I got mine for RM23), is very much affordable for what you're getting in return. I like the viscosity of the foundation (not too watery) and it does hold on pretty well to its claim on oil control. My T-zone gets pretty oily but compared to other foundations, Fit Me held through 8 hours quite gracefully.
Cons :-
If I'm not mistaken, it is said that Fit Me is supposed to be a medium to full coverage foundation. However, I don't find it full-coverage. So, this foundation, to me, will give you a natural coverage and if you have really dark scars to work with like mine, one layer of it isn't enough. I'll try 2 layers another day.
Another con is its bottle. Maybelline should have invested in a pump for this as it takes so long to get the product out. Imagine when it's finishing, there will be so much product wasted inside the bottle.
Overall, I do think that Maybelline's Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation is worth a try! If you have oily skin and prefer medium-coverage foundations, this would definitely work well for you.
That's all for now.
xx, Farm
